I love how she ran out of lyrics at the end :)

Hey Tom, did you still want my bbq?

Sure! I'll need a quick crash course on how to use it and propane tank safety though. :)

"In Canadaaaa, they never will be mean"

...well dang, now I can't say anything, now can I?

Other than thinking when I saw the post: "Oh, a nice patriotic video.. wait, it's Dronon." So, my loins were suitably girded before I clicked. :)

Not related to her: Why show pancakes in BC... and the way the syrup hit those pancakes in spurts was vaguely.. or maybe not so vaguely dirty...

Also: "SASKATCHEWAN!" including in the song. The name seems enough!

And not related: I met a certain Jonathan who hails from W-town, at yesterday's big furry Canada Day get-together to watch the fireworks. He says that everywhere he goes in the fandom, as soon as he says he's from W, people go "Oh, do you know Dronon?" :)

Oh, Jon! Great fellow, we miss him! Um, that's strange, I thought my fandom presence was rather low-key.

Yeah, B.J. Snowden is... interesting. One of her CDs that I haven't worked up the guts to listen to is called "In Memory Of My Father & My Life In Canada's Atlantic Provinces", which has individual tracks devoted to New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland.

I've only listened to the New Brunswick one, and it sounds like she used a tourist brochure as source material. I played it to my friend Marlos who's from that province, to which he narrowed his eyes and said, "I will keeeel you!"

*chuckles* Your fandom presence may be "rather low-key", but you are still unforgettable.

You are one of two people I have described as "an experience". You are truly a unique individual, and you certainly make an impression on people.

Dawww. (blush) You've also enriched me; despite the geographical distance! :)

If you haven't worked up the guts to listen to it, that's an "oh wow" moment for sure. :)

Yeah, Jon seemed a fine fellow. I described the late-night episode of The Talent Show and he nodded with a knowing smile.

You are indeed An Experience. Supposedly, so am I, on the dance floor...

This is an example of "outsider art," isn't? ...work that has artistic merit, but made with skills that are non-standard at best? 'Cause man, this was... something else entirely!

Yup! All the enthusiasm and sincerity, but on its own musical planet entirely. :)
